Purpose

This is a proposal to add a new root url. Sig9 manages many separate projects, where projects are termed as "distinct works from the Sig9.com website". I feel that we need a separate url root for managing projects.

Plan

To create a new root url ./projects and add subdirectories to it based on separate projects. Also maintain an index at ./projects.

Overhead

Adding the urls is easy.. but maintaining the project list might not be. It is suggested that when a site admin does a project addition he immediately updates the ./project page also.

In-situ action

I've invoked admin-rights ;-) and added the pages in temporarily... Will wait for comments...

Conclusion

Following judgement, I've made this page permanent.
