You can't login to Sig9 with the alumni ID. That is unique and for the alumni site alone. Sig9 is hosting sctalumni temporarily until it can be moved to the sctce.ac.in domain. With a Sig9 ID, you get a blog, you can post comments, and if your blogs are good, you'll get promoted to the front page :-)
